2010 NFC Wild Card Playoff
Jones' 76 yd TD
Dallas vs. Philadelphia
34 - 14
January 9, 2010
AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX
It was a long drought without a playoff win but Dallas broke through in spectacular Wild Card win over Philadelphia. Dallas never trailed in the game, putting up 4 touchdowns and 2 field goals to Philadelphia's 2 touchdowns. The icing on the cake was Felix Jones' franchise playoff record 76-yard touchdown run off a handoff from Tony Romo.
1995 Super Bowl XXX
Brown Picks off O'Donnell...again
Dallas vs. Pittsburgh
27 - 17
January 1, 1996
Sun Devil Stadium, Tempe, AZ
Dallas was looking to become the first team to win 3 Super Bowls in 4 years, but they had to get through a solid Pittsburgh team first. Dallas jumped out to an early lead but by the 4th quarter, Pittsburgh had battled back and was only down a field goal. That was when Larry Brown collected his 2nd interception of the game, setting up an Emmitt Smith touchdown that gave Dallas an insurmountable lead in Super Bowl XXX. That play helped earn Brown the Super Bowl MVP award, the first cornerback to ever do so, and earned Dallas their 5th NFL title.
1992 Super Bowl XXVII
Irvin's Two TDs in 18s
Dallas vs. Buffalo
52 - 17
January 31, 1993
Rose Bowl Stadium, Pasadena, CA
It had been 15 long years since the last Dallas title, and no one knew it then but it was the beginning of Dallas' 90s dynasty. Dallas crushed Buffalo, winning by a 5 touchdown margin and forcing a record 9 turnovers. Michael Irvin tied a Super Bowl record with 2 touchdown catches in the same quarter, receiving 2 passes from Troy Aikman just 18 seconds apart.
1977 Super Bowl XII
Halfback pass for second title
Dallas vs. Denver
27 - 10
January 15, 1978
Louisiana Superdome, New Orleans, LA
In their second Super Bowl victory, Roger Staubach and the Doomsday Defense crushed Denver's Orange Crush with a stifling defense that forced 8 turnovers. The game was put out of reach midway through the 4th quarter with Robert Newhouse's 29-yard touchdown pass on a halfback option to Golden Richards.
