A SPORT Gallery Exclusive—Before the Original Six NHL era, the league saw many teams come and go. By 1926 all the Original Six teams, as we know them today, had entered the league. Commemorate the early years of the National Hockey with this super soft and comfy long sleeve shirt that features the teams of the 1937/38 season. It features the NHL shield on the front with the 4 American Division team logos on one sleeve (the Boston Bruins, Chicago Black Hawks, New York Rangers, and Detroit Red Wings) and the 4 Canadian Division team logos on the other sleeve (Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Americans, Montreal Canadiens, and Montreal Maroons).
The 1937/1938 season would be the final year for the Montreal Maroons. In 1942, the Brooklyn Americans would leave as well, which would kick off the Original Six era.
