"The Catch" was more than just a game winning touchdown, it was the signal of changing of the guard. With San Francisco down by 6 points, Joe Montana led San Francisco down the field and hit Dwight Clark from 6 yards out for "The Catch" and the win. San Francisco went on to win Super Bowl XVI.

Heavily utilizing Jerry Rice, Montana capped off the drive by hitting John Taylor for the game-winning touchdown pass.

Arguably the best player to ever grace a football field, Jerry Rice. In a 1994 Week 1 MNF matchup, Jerry scored his 3rd TD of the night to get career number 127, breaking Jim Brown's record. Rice finished his career with 208 total touchdowns, 33 more than eventual 2nd place Emmitt Smith.

San Francisco was looking to avenge the previous year's playoff loss to Green Bay, but at the 2 minute warning Brett Favre threw a touchdown pass to put Green Bay up by 4. Steve Young had to get a touchdown to win and he delivered, finding Terrell Owens for a 25-yard touchdown with 3 seconds remaining in the game.
