A youthful Frank Mahovlich is captured by stellar SPORT magazine photographer Martin Blumenthal in 1961. Mahovlich and Montreal’s Bernie Geoffrion battled all season long for a shot at Maurice Richard’s record of 50 goals, with Geoffrion prevailing, 50-48. Two seasons later, Chicago owner Jim Norris would offer $1 million, a then unheard-of sum, for Mahovlich, but was turned down.
Each piece is hand titled and numbered, carries The SPORT Collection emboss, and is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity, which sets out the details of the edition as well as bearing a detailed description of the image.
Each reproduction is printed on 100% Hahnemuhle cotton rag paper using UltraChrome K3 pigmented inks and produced to the highest standard of archival quality available.

EXCHANGE POLICY
We've extended our exchange policy for the holiday season! Items bought as of November 1, 2024 can be brought back for exchange or store credit until January 15, 2025. Please note we do not offer refunds, but our team is here and happy to help you find something else!
Items must be brought back in original sale condition with proof of purchase to authorize an exchange.
Sale items and custom order items are always final sale.

Please note due to the Canada Post strike we will be shipping orders outside of Toronto using UPS or Fedex. International orders will ship via DHL. Toronto orders will ship via Mile1 or Trexity.
