The Montreal Canadiens—the NHL's longest standing and winningnest team—haven't strayed far from their classic red and white "CH" logo in recent history. But a true fan will know the early logo history of the team wasn't so consistent. The Canadiens had a few looks in the early 1900s before settling on the logo that would see them through the second half of the 21st century.
Our favourite vintage logo? The maple leaf "CAC" logo from 1912-13. It stands for "Club Athlétique Canadien" or "Canadian Athletic Club". Celebrate the NHL's oldest team with this unique cap!
